Tsinghua SEM and the Roundtable Group have been privileged to have Dr. Annie Wu as our first guest speaker, officially opening the Round Table Discussion Series.

Dr. Wu, a renowned business women and entrepreneur and one of Tsinghua's benefactors has graciously shared her thoughts on today's business environment and the challenged of tomorrow's leaders, stressing the importance of education as a platform for future leaders with a universal mindset, acting towards and social and economic growth.

Dr. Wu also emphasized the importance of such traits as humility, curiosity and critical thinking, perseverance and a sense of accountability towards people and the environment, talking about her own experiences as a young entrepreneur, her past growing up in Hong-Kong and the obstacles she has overcome over the years.

Our first Roundtable discussion has proved to be a great success, wherein IMBA students were invited to actively take part in the discussion with Dr. Wu, both from the Roundtable panel and from the audience. This is the beginning of an exciting program, truly offering a customized one of a kind experience to IMBA students.
